Adopting Animals from Abroad

Emma is the Rehoming and Behaviour Manager at Miracle's Mission, animal welfare charity. Emma is coming to talk to you about all the reasons to adopt disabled animals and why the work of the charity is worth supporting.

Emma is a qualified canine behaviourist with over 5 years experience of training and rescuing dogs from the Middle East. She has a particular interest in the native street dogs to Egypt known as “Baladi Dogs” and has a passion for rescuing senior shelter dogs from abroad. Emma has been working with Miracle’s Mission for 4 years and in that time has helped re-home and also sustain placements for some of the most marginalised and vulnerable animals.

Emma also helps to co- ordinate the charities TNR efforts in Egypt. She is also Mum to a busy young family and caretaker of a multiple species home environment.

She is Vegan for the animals.
