The Shortcut To Fulfilment

TALK OVERVIEW

The Shortcut To Fulfilment explores the connection between veganism, animal welfare and personal wellbeing. Combining lived experience with scientific research in neurobiology, psychophysiology and altruism, Sioni Mavani-Puri examines how acts of compassion can positively influence stress regulation, emotional wellbeing and long term health, while creating a deeper sense of purpose and fulfilment. The talk also highlights practical and often overlooked ways people can support animal welfare beyond donating or volunteering, showing how small acts of contribution can create powerful ripple effects for both animals and humans alike.

The Case for Veganism in Uniformed Youth Groups

We all know that Veganism is better for the planet and for animal rights. Did you know, however, that there's a strong case to be made for Veganism in uniformed youth groups? Using the Scouts and the Girl Guides as case studies, we'll explore the justification for plant-based youth movements whilst being able to retain the core values of such organisations.
